How Does Thermiva® Work?
ThermiVa® is a vaginal rejuvenation treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate renewed collagen production and tighten skin laxity. The fresh collagen helps to thicken the vaginal tissue, enhancing lubrication, improving tone, and more. Three treatments, each spaced about a month apart, can be enough to create ideal results: improved sensation during intercourse, better bladder control, and an overall increase in satisfaction with the look and feel of the area.
Collagen is a protein that makes our skin firm and elastic. The natural aging process and life events such as illness, childbirth, medications and lifestyle contribute to diminishing collagen causing skin laxity.
Using the power of radiofrequency energy, the Thermiva vaginal wand stimulates the rebuilding of collagen and helps to bring increased blood flow, lubrication, and skin tightening to both the external labia and the internal vaginal canals.
What To Expect
A .5” wand is inserted into the vagina using lubrication, and the wand will gently heat the tissue via emission of radiofrequency energy. The wand can be used both inside the vagina and on the outside of the vulva in circular motions for the duration of the treatment. Each treatment is generally completed in thirty minutes.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
A full course treatment of THERMIVA® consists of three sessions, done one month apart with the aesthetic improvement resulting from treatment can last up to two to three years.
When Will I See My Results?
Immediately after your first treatment, you will be able to see and feel the effects. Results will continue to develop, and full results will be seen after a series of treatments.
