Sculptra Butt Lift
Non-Surgical Rejuvenation and Enhancement
The Sculptra butt lift is a non-surgical procedure that rejuvenates and enhances the shape of the buttocks by increasing volume and fullness. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic injectable compound. It has been widely used in dissolvable sutures and soft tissue implants for decades and was specifically designed to stimulate and harness your body’s own reparative and regenerative processes, restoring volume, softness, and elasticity to treated areas. Traditionally, it is used to restore lost facial volume, but in recent years has become popular for adding volume and definition to the buttocks region.

Am I A Good Candidate?
Candidates for Sculptra butt lift are typically those who desire rounder, more shapely buttocks. For slim people who don’t have enough extra fat in a donor area to undergo fat transfer as part of a Brazilian butt lift, the Sculptra butt lift is a great alternative. It is also perfect for those who would prefer a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment option over surgery.
How Does Sculptra Work?
The beauty of Sculptra treatment is that its effects unfold naturally and gradually over time, with results lasting up to two years. The injection of Sculptra into the deep dermis of the skin triggers an inflammatory reaction that causes an upregulation of the activity of fibroblasts in the skin. In this way, Sculptra stimulates the replacement of the skin’s collagen that has declined with age, gradually restoring volume and fullness. With time, the poly-L-lactic acid particles themselves are metabolized to carbon dioxide and water and expelled through the respiratory system so that all that remains is the new collagen.
The deep dermal layer is responsible for the majority of the strength and structural support of the skin. The major protein component of this structural support is collagen. Fibroblasts are cells that speed wound healing and provide the structural framework of the skin by producing collagen. Collagen is the major structural protein in the skin, responsible for its thickness, strength, and shape. In youth, collagen makes up 80% of skin’s volume, but after age 25, we lose about 1% of our total volume of collagen each successive year, leading to increased skin laxity and visible wrinkles and skin folds.
When Will I See My Results?
The sterile water used to suspend the Sculptra particles for the injection causes the first volume increase experienced following your procedure. Your body will naturally absorb this water in the first couple of days after your treatment.
For five days following your procedure, you’ll be asked to massage the treated area to make sure the Sculptra particles spread evenly throughout your buttocks. This will result in a more sculpted and full appearance.
As you receive follow-up treatments over the following few months, your results will develop gradually and continue to improve—that’s why patience is key. Your final results can last as long as two to three years. Those that wish to maintain their results for longer periods of time can expect to undergo an additional round of Sculptra butt lift injections.
A full course of Sculptra treatment typically involves three to four injection sessions with three-to-six-week intervals between each session. The aesthetic improvement resulting from treatment with Sculptra can last up to two to three years.
How Much Sculptra Will I Need?
Sculptra butt lift prices vary depending on your individual cosmetic goals and how much volume you’re looking to add. We typically use up to five vials of Sculptra on each side of the buttocks. This translates to 20–30 vials over the course of 2–3 treatments.
For these multiple-vial injections, we provide a “bulk discount.” Additionally, we provide a range of payment plans and financing options to make sure your treatment is affordable.
What To Expect
While you are standing, we will evaluate the area to be treated and mark it accordingly. Lidocaine will be injected into the treatment area in addition to being added to the Sculptra formula to increase comfort. Sculptra will be inserted into the buttocks using a microcannula or a tiny needle.
A portion of the Sculptra injection will be administered while you are standing, and the rest while you are resting on your stomach. Your provider will massage the treatment area for several minutes after all of the Sculptra has been injected into the buttocks. Typically, it takes an hour or less to complete each Sculptra session.
