Clear + Brilliant offers two handpieces. The Permea is used on patients concerned with the early signs of aging and discoloration. The Permea handpiece enhances the skin’s permeability, resulting in enhanced absorption of pigment lightening skincare which is applied immediately after treatment.
How Does It Work?
Clear + Brilliant® harnesses fractional laser technology, and is considered a “baby laser” that creates hundreds of thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin, prompting the skin to replace damaged skin with healthy-looking tissue, yielding younger-looking, smooth, glowing skin.
What To Expect From A Clear + Brilliant Treatment:
Your clinician will apply a topical anesthetic to your face for about 30 minutes prior to treatment to ensure that you are comfortable throughout the session. Once you are feeling numb, your clinician will pass over your face with the handpiece for your skin concerns, creating tiny microchannels in your skin, and stimulating its natural healing processes. These channels will also improve absorption of medical-grade skincare products applied during and immediately after the treatment, resulting in quicker healing and smoother, firmer, and more even-looking skin.
Finally, your clinician will apply a calming balm to your face to reduce redness and irritation. The treatment time is 30-40 minutes and has little to no downtime.
What Results Can I Expect?
For the first 24 hours you can expect your skin to be pink and feel slightly sunburned. Some patients experience slight flaking, tightness, and dryness of the skin for the next couple of days. Within a week after one treatment, your skin will start to feel softer, look brighter, and show more even tone. Results can last for months depending on age, skin condition, and how you protect your skin.
