What Skincare Products Can Be Customized In An Aquagold Facial?
BOTOX® applied into the micro-channels (not the muscle) helps shrink pores on the face. This is the only recognized treatment that has an actual physical effect on pore size. Growth factors stimulate the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as increase elasticity and enhance texture, tone, and luminosity on the face, neck, and chest. Pigment reducers curb the skin’s melanin response to sun exposure. Combined with sun protection, this approach can reduce discoloration on many exposed areas. Small amounts of dermal filler can subtly help plump and smooth the skin, creating a more even skin tone.
What To Expect
Numbing is not necessary for an Aquagold Facial, but some patients request it. An AquaGold Facial can last 30 to 60 minutes depending on the areas being treated and the products being used. The Face, Neck and Chest can all be treated in an Aquagold Facial. Although there are no visible wounds after the treatment, the process does involve fine needles penetrating the skin, so the treated areas should be kept clean and out of the sun for 48 hours for best results.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
We recommend a series of at least six sessions, with maintenance sessions every few months, to achieve ideal results. However, micro-channeling can be used as a one-time treatment for anyone who wants glowing skin for an upcoming event.
When Will I See Results?
Results take about a week to develop and peak two weeks after the treatment is completed. For this reason, we recommend planning at least two weeks ahead of a special event to ensure your complexion will look radiant.
