This 37-year-old patient from Studio City, CA originally had implants put in at the age of 18. After experiencing capsular contracture, she underwent an implant removal and replacement with another surgeon, unfortunately developing capsular contracture a second time. While breast feeding, she developed an infection in the breast that required immediate removal, which left her breasts deformed. She sought Dr. Cassileth’s expertise to help her acheive a normal-looking appearance after going through so much. Dr. Cassileth performed an implant revision, using 240 cc saline implants, placed under the muscle to reduce the risk of capsular contracture, and fat transfer to the breast.
